Degree Programs
Earn an accredited degree with real-world ministry experience at GFC College as we partner with Southeastern University (SEU) to provide a hybrid education model that combines accredited online coursework with hands-on ministry training.

Associates in General Education
SEU’s Associate of Arts (AA) degree is created for students seeking an advanced curriculum without a declared field of study. This two-year, online program consists of 62 credit hours, with 50* credit hours designated to Foundational Core studies, such as courses in general education, biblical studies, and faith integration. Students must also complete 12 credit hours of general electives. With an AA degree, students have the necessary knowledge to continue their education with an advanced degree or pursue jobs such as a junior designer, human resources assistant, marketing assistant, or administrative assistant. *The Foundational Core Program includes the core learning components commonly accepted as foundational for a four-year baccalaureate degree by many colleges and universities. However, many bachelor degrees require specific prerequisites. Students should verify how their AA degree and classes transfer into their intended degree.
BS in Ministerial Leadership: Biblical Studies​​​
The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership — Biblical Studies track (BSMLB) provides a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. This online program is a total of 122 credit hours, including 56 credit hours for Foundational Core courses, 24 credit hours of general electives, and 42 credit hours of ministerial leadership core courses. The final 18 hours of the BSMLB major core focuses on advanced study, interpretation, and application of the Bible in the context of the local church.

Associates in Ministerial Leadership

SEU’s Associate of Ministerial Leadership is an online degree that allows students to develop their knowledge of theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. Students satisfy the credentialing requirements of ordination through the Assemblies of God as part of the program. All courses are transferable into Southeastern’s Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership.
BS in Ministerial Leadership: Christian Ministry​​​
The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership — Christian Ministry track (BSMLM) provides a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. This online program is a total of 122 credit hours. Fifty-six credit hours are designated to Foundational Core education in addition to 24 credit hours of general electives and 42 credit hours of ministerial leadership core courses. The final 18 hours of the BSMLM major core focuses on key pastoral competencies: sharing the Christian faith, preaching, church leadership, spiritual formation, and pastoral care.

BS in Ministerial Leadership: Worship
The Bachelorof Science in Ministerial Leadership — Worship Ministries track (BSMLW) provides a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. This online program is a total of 122 credit hours: 56 credit hours for Foundational Core courses, 24 credit hours of general electives, and 42 credit hours of ministerial leadership core courses. The final 18 hours of the BSMLW focuses on preparing students to serve as worship pastors through studies in music theory, worship leadership, music composition, sound production, and music performance.
BS in Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care and Counseling
The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership — Pastoral Care and Counseling track (BSMLP) provides a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. This online program is a total of 122 credit hours: 56 credit hours for Foundational Core courses, 24 credit hours of general electives, and 42 credit hours of ministerial leadership core courses. The final 18 hours of the BSMLP major core is an interdisciplinary study in psychology, counseling, and pastoral care.

Practicum List
Serving in a ministry practicum at Gateway Fellowship Church is a rewarding journey filled with personal growth and meaningful connections. This experience will allow you to actively participate in the church’s mission, engaging with a diverse community dedicated to faith and service. Through hands-on involvement in various ministries, you will gain insights into the inner workings of the church and the importance of fostering relationships within the congregation.

Weekly Schedule

SUN
Worship Service
Time: 7am - 11am
​
Serving the local church Sunday is essential for fostering a sense of community and belonging. It allows individuals to contribute their unique gifts and talents while strengthening their faith and relationships with others. participating in church activities, members can support one another, grow spiritually, and spread positivity within the community.
Students will also be given an opportunity to "just be" by attending a GFC Worship Service.
TUES
Staff & Department
Time: 9am - 12pm
Participating in staff team meetings and department meetings is crucial for fostering collaboration and communication among team members. Engaging in these discussions allows individuals to share ideas, provide feedback, and learn from each other’s experiences.​
Time: 1pm - 4pm
Students will be given a block of time to complete their SEU course work in a designated area at GFC.
Projects
Time: 9am - 12pm
Students will have a total of 3 hours to dedicate to their practicum projects. This time is crucial for applying learned concepts and skills in a practical setting. This could be working alongside their practicum leader or in a group setting with their peers.
WED
Student Life & GSM
Time: 10am - 12pm
​Students will participate in a weekly student led chapel where they will grow deeper in their relationship with God. In addition to that, will be "Student Life" where they will experience the many aspects of relational connection with others.
Time: 1pm - 4pm​
Students will be given another block of time to complete their SEU course work. This can be done off-site.
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Students will participate in Gateway School of Ministry (GSM) where they will develop in their leadership skills.

Tuition: $8,136.00
Tuition covers the cost of your classes only; books and fees are additional. Tuition is charged per credit hour. Tuition listed is based on 15 credits per semester (for 2 semesters) with the practicum scholarship applied. Summer tuition is charged the online rate: $399/credit hour + $175 Technology Fee.
Site Fee: $2,500.00
The site fee covers expenses related to student development and classroom facilities. The site fee is charged at a flat rate per semester. The annual fee (2 semesters) is listed.
General Student Fee: $600.00
The general student fee is charged at a rate of $300/semester. This fee covers the cost of facilitating classes for all students.
